If your Mac has a problem and it’s out of warranty, no problem. Our Apple Certified Technicians will diagnose your problem and get it fixed quickly and affordably using genuine Apple parts.

While we are happy to recycle Apple products, there are a few items we cannot accept :

– Commercial Appliances
– Battery Backups (UPS)
– Alkaline Batteries
– Ink/Toner cartridges
– Printers/Scanners/Fax Machines
– CRT Monitors
– Any items that may present a health or safety hazard.
Recycling is intended for individuals only.
Bulk Apple electronics from businesses or organizations must get approval prior to drop off.
Memory Upgrades (RAM)
Beach ballin’? RAM helps reduce the spinning beach ball. If you’ve upgraded your operating system and applications since you bought your computer, you may need more RAM. We’ll help you figure out how much RAM is right for your Mac and perform the upgrade while you wait.
Storage Upgrades (Hard Drive)
Have you run out of storage space? You need a hard disk upgrade.
We have a variety of options including conventional platter drives, modern solid-state drives and hybrid drives. We’ll discuss your needs and find the right solution for you.

Technical Service Manager
“Rubin” has been working with Macs professionally for over 15 years. Prior to joining Mike’s Tech Shop for it’s opening on Black Friday 2007, Rubin worked as a Mac Genius at the Apple Store at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City, NY. Rubin also worked as a sales associate in the Mac department at J&R Computer World from 1996 through 2001. Rubin’ purchased his first Mac, a PowerMac 6100, in 1994. It came pre-loaded with Mac OS 7.1.2, but eventually upgraded all the way to Mac OS 9.2. It was love at first sight and he’s never used a Windows computer since.
Data Recovery Specialist
Jessica started as a technician for AT&T and learned how to root phones and “Hackintosh” during free time. When she bought her college MacBook at an Apple Store, a lead Genius saw her Hackintosh and offered her a job. After working at Apple, she became an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician. She fell in love with the Internet in 1996 and is still trying to find a way to marry it.
